Dr. Rajesh K Shukla is the Director of the Oriental Institute Of Science and Technology , Bhopal, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), also known as the State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh. His research focuses on Machine Learning and Data Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from RGPV Bhopal and has been actively engaged in both teaching and administrative responsibilities.

Dr. Shukla has authored seven textbooks published by Wiley India , Cengage Learning and BPB Publications, and has edited over seven conference proceedings published by Springer Nature and IEEE. He holds seven granted patents, with two more patents published. In 2015, he was honored with the prestigious ISTE UP Government National Award.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shukla has served as a program committee member for numerous international conferences and workshops, co-chairing several of them. He has played a significant role in initiating and organizing various annual conferences and symposiums, and is a reviewer for several reputed international journals.

In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Shukla is the Founding Chairman of the ACM Bhopal Chapter and the former Chairman of the CSI Bhopal Chapter. He is a Fellow of IETE, a Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and a Life Member of ISTE, CSI, and IE(I). With over 24 years of teaching experience in different engineering institutions, Dr. Shukla continues to be a leading figure in his field.
